Our music ministry offers an array of ensembles to involve all ages. Contact Jack Levick, Director of Music Ministries (941-955-8119, ext. 124) for additional information and/or to find out how you can get involved.
The Cherub Choir – Kindergarten through 2nd grade children rehearse on Sundays,10:00 a.m. in Fellowship Hall and participate in worship services approximately once a month.
The New Song Praise Team – The praise band is a contemporary group that sings at the 9:00 New Song Service.
The Spanish Hymn Singers and Band – This group lauds their praises to God at the Spanish speaking service at 9:30 in the Chapel.
The Adult Choir – The adult choir is primarily a volunteer ensemble that rehearses in the Forum/Choir Room on Wednesdays from 7:15 – 9:00 p.m. and sings regularly at 11:00 a.m. worship service, with a small group leading the worship service at 8:30 a.m.They are directed by Jack Levick.
The Handbell Choir – This ensemble consists of congregational members of all ages and they rehearse on Wednesdays from 6:00– 7:15 p.m. and participate in church services once a month. The handbell choir is directed by John Yost.
The First Brass - The First Brass is the church’s resident scholarship brass ensemble with a core ensemble of two trumpets, horn, tenor trombone and bass trombone. Sometimes augmented to include timpani, percussion as well as additional brass players, the Brass participate in church services approximately once a month and are directed by Jack Levick.
