Calling All Kids – Come join in our Summer of Service, SOS! Each Wed. evening during the summer, we will learn about, and help with service to others. There is MAGIC in it! We begin Wed., June 22nd with All Faith’s Food Bank, and will also help with City Kids, Habitat for Humanity, and a Shoe Box Ministry. Come to Fellowship Hall, 6:30 – 7:30 PM and be a part of SOS!
Attention All Adults! We need your help too! Here is what we need from you! In order for the children to have “hands on” experiences in serving, we are asking to congregation to assist by donating items for the children to use in various projects. There will be bins in the church office to collect project donations. This is what we need:
1) Canned foods for the food bank. We especially need high protein items such as peanut butter, canned meats of all kinds, heavy stews and soups, canned pasta dishes, etc.
2) Shoe boxes
3) Travel sized toiletries (toothpaste, shampoo/conditioner, lotion, soap, tooth brushes, combs, etc.)
4) Used books, for a children’s library, and an adult library, for Family Promise. (Parents, we will ask your children to look through their used books and pick out what they would like to give).
